Delete your Heartbeat account
Heartbeat: Pet Emergency Plan, by That's the Spot Productions LLC
In the app
- Open Heartbeat and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- We text a code to the number on your account. Enter it to confirm.
Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm. It cannot be undone.
Without the app
If you no longer have the phone, write to support@heartbeat.pet or use the contact form and choose “Delete my account”. Tell us the phone number on the account. We confirm it is yours before deleting anything.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a membership. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
Deleted right away
- Your phone number, email addresses, name and sign-in methods
- Your pets, their photos and your care plan, including your address and entry instructions
- Your check-in history, and every missed check-in with who was asked and what they said
- Your emergency contacts' names, phone numbers and email addresses
Kept
- The record that you agreed to our Terms and Privacy Policy when you signed up: which versions, when, and the app version and device. Kept as a legal record.
- For each of your former contacts, the dates they agreed, declined or opted out, with nothing that says who they were. Kept so their choices are still honoured.
- App Store and Google Play purchase records, kept for billing questions and refunds.
Deleted data also leaves our backups within 7 days.
